Privacy Policy

As the owner of this website, I (Pauline Siebers) recognize that you may be concerned about the use and disclosure of your personal information. The Internet is an ever evolving place, and so are our agreements on how to remain as human as possible in this online environment. I respect and applaud all progress in these agreements, and aim to contribute in an inspiring way.

Seeing that your privacy is very important to me, this page is meant to inform you of the information that I may collect from you through this website, and how it is used. The following privacy policy relates to online data only, and by using this website, you are accepting the practices described in this policy.

Please be assured that ALL verbal and written information exchanged with me is totally confidential.

What personal information is collected from the people that visit

When contacting me through a contact / sign up form on this website, you will be asked to enter your name and email address. Often times there is an extra field available, meant for you to add other details that might elaborate your inquiry more.

When is personal information collected?

I collect personal information from you when you subscribe to my newsletter, fill out a (sign up) form or enter additional information in the extra fields of any form on

For how long do I hold on to your information?

With regards to the newsletter, I hold on to your information until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribing = deleting your information. The option to unsubscribe can be found at the bottom of those emails.

With regards to the data that Google Analytics tracks, your information will be deleted 3 months after you’ve visited this website last.

Why do I collect your information?

There are two reasons for me to ask for your personal information:

• Without your email address, we cannot set up a (first) session. I ask for your name as well because I consider it a human agreement to be able and address you that way.

• To keep adapting this website to the most comfortable and favorable user experience. For this I use Google Analytics (more on that below), and Google Analytics let’s me know whether you’re here for the first time, how long you stayed on a web page, and when and where you left off. By analyzing that kind of information, and applying constant changes, I try and meet you at the level of your needs (with still plenty of room for guessing!).

How is your information being protected?

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons (me, myself and I) who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

Are “cookies” being used?

“Cookie”: a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help improve access to the site and to identify repeat visitors to the site.

As I mentioned above, Google Analytics is being used to analyse the use of this website. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about website use by means of cookies, which are stored on users’ computers. The information generated, relating to, is used to create reports about the use of the website. The reports are used to enhance this website (to meet your needs, remember?).

Anyway, Google will store this information. For how Google does that, I have to refer you to Google’s privacy policy at:

By the way: most browsers allow you to reject all cookies, whilst some browsers allow you to reject just third party cookies. Blocking all cookies will, however, have a negative impact upon the usability of many websites, including this one.

Third-party disclosure

I do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information unless I provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist me in operating this website, conducting my business, or serving the users (you!), so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. Another exception would be when the release of personal information is appropriate to comply with the law, to enforce this site’s policies, or to protect my or others’ rights, property or safety.

Third-party links

Occasionally, at my discretion and aimed to serve you, I may include or offer third-party products or services on These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. I therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, I seek to protect the integrity of this website and welcome any feedback you wish to share with me about these sites.

Transfer to countries outside the EU

For technical and operational reasons it may be necessary for your (personal) data to be processed on servers of companies that I have enabled. In some cases those servers are located outside the European Economic Area. Because the regulations in the field of privacy protection may not be the same protection as within the European Economic Area, I use EU standard contractual clauses to protect your privacy.
